giants rout seahawks 44-6 and remain undefeated!

"plaxico who?" should be the headline as giants routed the seahawks 44-6, and finish the 5th week of the season 4-0 (the only other still undefeated team is the titans, at 5-0). this is the giants best start to a season since 2000 (when they finished 13-3 and were the nfc champions).

that photo is of domenick hixon, making a great catch and scoring a touchdown in the process. the giants played without veteran plaxio burress, who sat out the game as because of his one game suspension for missing a team meeting without explanation. thankfully, the giants didn't miss him as the junior players stepped up and showed how deep the giants bench is this year.

the seahawks, the defending nfc west champs, were never in the game. a sorry start for them, with their record falling to 3-1. the giants, on the other hand, rolled up 523 yard of total offense at their expense (the best since 2002).

check out the great daily news photo gallery from the game!

I gotta give it to Eli. He has really matured since this time last year. Question is now: Can they beat Washington in Washington.
