Awesome Job Frank and glad they had some beer for ya at the finish
Love the Gold Cowbell, thats a nice award!!
Have a great recovery week!
Cool race. Man, I wish I lived near all of you guys!
Ron
50 miles - GREAT job!!! Sounds like you all had a fun time of it too!
Again, you take the best race pictures. By the way, to answer your question, I hope to run a sub 4 hour marathon. Usually, when I'm tired, I can eek out an 8:50 to 9 minute mile. So if I train hard enough and run slow enough during the marathon, sub 4 should be attainable, I hope.
Hi RD - I ran the 25K's at both Pineland and Greenbelt and have loved reliving those experiences by reading your blog entries. You seem to also have great taste in literature! Look forward to more wonderful accounts from the trails and will hope to say hello at one of these races. Maybe I will graduate to the longer courses one day..!
Jack from Boston
Congratulations Frank You guys rock. I'm looking forward to more reports, they will push me in the right direction to step it up!!!
oh man!! I have been behind on reading your blog or I would have been looking for you! So sorry! I'm glad you had an awesome time - I recognize the folks in your pics, I probably handed you your cowbell (do you remember someone on crutches at the finish?). So glad you enjoyed your time in Maine and that you had such a fantastic race! Our paths will cross soon, I'm sure!
thanks bob! when will your race schedule bring you up to the city?
thanks ron! ditto, when will your race schedule bring you down to the city?
thanks kevin! you'll definitely bring it under 4!!
thanks jack! any chance you're near wakefield? we're heading up there at the end of july for the 24 hour run around the lake?
thanks dawn! will see you soon!
oh mindy! i knew you had pineland on your schedule. but when you got injured it didn't occur to me you'd be there as a volunteer! glad the recovery is coming along!
RD - I will be in your neck of the woods (NYC) the weekend of the Wakefield Race...
