tough conditions - like 90+ percent humidity - for the waveny summer xc series 2 man, 6 mile relay! but even with the oppressive humidity there was a record turnout for the relay!
like we did last year, emmy and i teamed up for the co-ed 100-110 age group. unlike last year, however, we ran more than minute slower for the combined six miles. still, the 42:59 finish was good enough to win our age group :D

I won my first relay shirt with Martha although not our fastest time on the course as we have done it together before! tonight was so unexpected we were both thrilled.
