the taconic road runners and dozens of volunteers once again put on a great 4th of july race - the world lung foundation putnam county classic. this year we had a record number of finishers (400+)for the 8 miler around lake mahopac (which included one u.s. congressman)! i'll post a short write-up of the race tomorrow. tonight is part two of the event - heading down to van cortlandt park for the vctc summer series relay!
