2011 broadway ultra society 6 hour run: race photos and results

today's 6 hour run in valley stream was tough - because of an unrelenting headwind we had to deal with on the second half of the loop course. i missed my target of running 50k in 5 hours (actually 22 loops was just under 32 miles) by about 10 minutes. the constant 15-20 mph headwind took its toll. in all other respects, it was a great day to run (sunny and in the 40's). after the run (which also included a 3 hour version), the 2010 ny ultrarunning grand prix awards were presented at the brunch.
