what a great morning to run a race! the perfect weather was a big change from the high humidity and rain from the 2008 edition of the putnam county classic. i finished the 8 mile course in 58:00, a 7:15 pace.

I heard we had a record turnout today --390 runners and 100 kids for fun run -woo hoo!! perfect weather helped.
Hey Frank, just caught your report. Nice. Thanks for the pictures as always. You forgot to mention that you dropped me like a bad habit on that first mile. Hee, hee. Wow, I didn't realize Don was there or else I would have said hello. Emmy and Lee did a wonderful job. Still my favorite race.
