the norfolk pub 10 miler certainly lives up to its billing as "new england's toughest ten mile road race!" it was my 4th time on the norfolk hills - and my first time running the normally frigid race in shorts (thanks to the relatively mild 34 degrees at the start). they had a huge turnout - almost 140 finishers.
i hit my 1:20 target with a 1:19:48 finish (just squeaked under with a 7:59 pace). i was more than pleased with it, taking 5 minutes off last year's result. i actually ran a negative split for the second half.
