Fitting to take this selfie in front of a frozen pond that is starting to thaw. Spring semester kicks off this week - my first classes are on Tuesday morning.
Today was an easy 4+miles. It was in the low 40's, so seeing that the pond was still frozen solid, albeit thawing, was definitely a surprise since it was more humid than cold outside.
Almost a cliché to say the break was too short - and having the Flu knock out almost a full week of it made it seem even shorter! But given the relatively few really cold days we've had, its been pretty decent weather - and, fingers crossed, maybe we'll get an early spring :D
