R.I.P. - Bill Daily

This morning I learned that Bill Daily passed away - he was 91 years old.  His family released the news that he died on September 4th. 

For people of my generation, he will always be associated with "I Dream of Jeannie" and "The Bob Newhart Show" - though his career spanned a few more decades! He played two of my favorite characters on T.V. sitcoms.

As recently as last weekend, "The Bob Newhart Show" reruns were available here on the Decades TV channel.  In a truly unfortunate coincidence - as of September 3, that channel was no longer available on my cable system - argh. 

Be that as it may, I will make it a point to find some episodes to watch in his memory!
