it was another hot and humid morning for the westport summer series 5k today. but even with the oppressive weather, there was a record turnout for the race - over 250 finishers!
last year - another hot and humid race day - i finished in 22:11. this time around my goal was a sub-22 finish. given the conditions, i was more than surprised with my 21:32 finish - taking off almost 30 seconds from last year's race!
