happy birthday katie!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!!

today is katie's 14th birthday. in a strange twist of fate, she and pat are in north carolina, and i'm stuck here at home :( not quite the birthday celebration we had planned. but katie will celebrate today with our in-laws. she'll spend part of the day with her cousin george, at at a renessaince fair! then, tonight, a celebratory dinner!

i participate vicariously. but when they get home, we'll have another celebration, to make up for the one i'll miss today :D
