happy new year!!

happy new year everyone!

it's bitterly cold outside right now: 12 degrees, a wind chill of -4 degrees, and ice covers most of the secondary roads.

somehow, it seemed warmer and the driving easier - last night. we had dinner at the silvermine tavern and celebrated the new year with my in-laws.
