it was a perfect day to spend outside - running an ultra in central park! i ran the knickerbocker 60k this morning (5:23:10 - unofficial), making up for skipping the race last year because of lousy weather! plenty of familiar faces, including a few running an ultra for the first time!
here is my race report, and are the race results from nyrr.
here are some race photos:

Great run Frank! I'm pretty sure I saw you went you got our stuff from the baggage tent too, but lacked the teeth to say hello. Weather was great wasn't it? I actually did 12 miles there myself including the last 4 counter clockwise rooting all you brave souls out there. Congrats again!
Hey, great blog. My friend raced it as well, we call him Bakerman. I biked while you guys did the hard stuff. He also had issue with number of laps. He turned me on to your blog. Anyway, never done one, but maybe someday, but holy crow, someone logged in 200 ultras. Cool. That is seriously impressive. GL to all you running freaks...maybe I'll be one of you too someday.
